Recap: Pascack Hills Broncos vs. River Dell Golden Hawks
The Pascack Hills Broncos posted their closest win yet this season on Thursday. They skirted past River Dell 48-45. The win made it back-to-back wins for Pascack Hills.
When it comes to explaining why River Dell lost, one person who can't be blamed is Sean Golden. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten rebounds. Golden is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Liam Hickey, who scored 14 points.
River Dell struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Pascack Hills' victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for River Dell, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pascack Hills will face off against Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westwood and Pascack Hills are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads. As for River Dell, they will head out on the road to face off against Mahwah at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
