Volleyball Recap: Risco's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

Risco suffered their biggest loss since September 8th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bernie Mules, falling 3-0. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mules from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-8, 25-20.

Avery Presley paced Risco's offense, picking up eight kills. Presley got some help from Lorelai Smith and her 19 assists.

Risco's loss ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-8-2. As for Bernie, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8-1 record this season.

Risco has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Bell City on the 2nd. As for Bernie, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Gideon on the 6th.
