Volleyball Recap: Weaver Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when Weaver took on Faith Christian on Thursday. The Bearcats fell just short of the Lions by a score of 3-2. The Bearcats just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Faith Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Anna Daniel led the charge by getting 24 digs, 11 kills, and nine aces. Those 11 kills gave Daniel a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylee Norton, who had 25 assists and 22 digs.

Weaver's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Faith Christian, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Coming up, Weaver will challenge Randolph County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Faith Christian, they will take on Ranburne on Monday.
