The Camden Hills Windjammers will head out on the road to face off against the Oxford Hills Vikings at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camden Hills has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with six straight losses, while Oxford Hills will come in with three straight victories.
Mt. Ararat hit Camden Hills with a four-run fourth inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Windjammers fell 6-1 to the Eagles. That's two games in a row now that the Windjammers have lost by exactly five runs.

Brian Leonard made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played.
Meanwhile, while Oxford Hills put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Skowhegan. The Vikings put the hurt on the River Hawks with a sharp 10-0 win.
Not much got past Carson Stevens, who gave up just a hit to keep Skowhegan off the board.
On the hitting side, Colton Jendrick was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carter Holbrook, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Camden Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Oxford Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Camden Hills has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Oxford Hills struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Camden Hills skirted past Oxford Hills 3-2 when the teams last played back in May of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Windjammers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
