Softball Recap: Lawson Comes Up Short

Saturday just wasn't the day for Lawson's offense. They lost 17-0 to the Independence Eagles on Saturday. The Lightning have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lawson's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Independence, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Looking ahead, Lawson will face off against Maplewood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Independence, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-4 victory against Centennial on the 24th.
