Baseball Recap: Longview Takes a Loss

Longview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sulphur Springs Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Lobos have lost by just one run.

Longview's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Sulphur Springs, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Looking ahead, Longview will be taking part in a tournament against Lindale at 5:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sulphur Springs, they will square off against Redwater at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
