Recap: Saratoga Panthers vs. Rocky Mountain Grizzlies
After flying high against the Meeteetse Longhorns on Friday, the Saratoga Panthers came back down to earth. Saratoga suffered a tough 53-31 loss at the hands of Rocky Mountain on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Saratoga has scored all season.
Rocky Mountain got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was MacKelle Moss out in front who scored 11 points along with five steals. Moss is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Brittly Boettcher, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Saratoga now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Rocky Mountain, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Kemmerer the next time they take the court. Rocky Mountain will host Kemmerer at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Saratoga will head out to face them at 12:00 p.m. on January 11, 2024.
