Basketball Recap: Murray County Central Comes Up Short

Murray County Central lost against Hills-Beaver Creek back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Murray County Central Rebels took a 55-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots. While losing is never fun, the Rebels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 334th, while the Patriots are ranked 153rd).

Murray County Central has also been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season. As for Hills-Beaver Creek, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 23-7.

As of now, neither Murray County Central nor Hills-Beaver Creek have any future games scheduled.
