Soccer Game Preview: Stafford vs. Colonial Forge

The Stafford Indians will head out to face off against the Colonial Forge Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Stafford's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Stafford's offense. They fell just short of Mountain View by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that Stafford have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Wednesday Colonial Forge sidestepped North Stafford for a 2-1 win.

The victory got Colonial Forge back to even at 3-3-2. As for Stafford, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Stafford beat Colonial Forge by a goal when the teams last played on April 2nd, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
