St. Pius X entered their tilt with St. Agnes Academy on Friday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 34-31 victory over the St. Agnes Academy Tigers. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 44-35 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

St. Pius X has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season. As for St. Agnes Academy, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 13-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Pius X will square off against Concordia Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Agnes Academy, they will face off against Incarnate Word Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
