Basketball Recap: Emmanuel Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

Emmanuel Baptist Academy played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Bible Baptist Eagles, falling 66-30. The defeat continues a trend for the Ambassadors in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.

Bible Baptist's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Abraham Cruz led the charge by as he made all 7 shots he took racking up 14 points and three steals. Silas Snyder was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 13 points and seven boards.

Emmanuel Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Bible Baptist, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
