Basketball Recap: Tussey Mountain Takes a Loss

Tussey Mountain was the 33-32 winner over Southern Fulton when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Tussey Mountain Titans fell 47-39 to the Southern Fulton Indians on Monday. That's two games in a row now that the Titans have lost by exactly eight points.

It was another big night for Sam Stotler, who went 6 for 11 en route to 20 points in addition to seven boards and three steals for Southern Fulton. The dominant performance gave Stotler a new career-high in rebounds. Villi Ah Loe was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

This is the second loss in a row for Tussey Mountain and nudges their season record down to 9-12. As for Southern Fulton, their victory bumped their record up to 7-15.

Coming up, Tussey Mountain will square off against Forbes Road at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Southern Fulton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
