Basketball Recap: Naylor Comes Up Short

Naylor lost against Neelyville back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Naylor Eagles took a blow against the Neelyville Tigers, falling 90-40. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Naylor's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Neelyville, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Looking ahead, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Eagles face off against the Blue Jays at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Neelyville, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 68-54 defeat against Twin Rivers on the 10th.
