Baseball Game Preview: Galt Warriors vs. Amador Buffaloes

For the second straight game, Galt will face off against Amador. The Warriors will host the Buffaloes at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Galt has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Amador will arrive with three straight wins.

Galt lost 10-4 to Amador on Wednesday.

For Amador's part, the team relied heavily on Brad Blankenheim, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Blankenheim has become a key player for the Buffaloes: the team is 2-0-1 when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnny Melton, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Amador was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .424. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.

The victory got Amador back to even at 7-7-1. As for Galt, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
