Soccer Game Preview: Dougherty Valley vs. Archbishop Mitty

The Dougherty Valley Wildcats will face off against the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Last Thursday, Dougherty Valley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Napa. That's two games straight that the Wildcats have won by just one goal.

They hit Napa with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Michael Xiong, Armon Alboudwarej, and Arya Mohan.

Meanwhile, for the first time this season, Archbishop Mitty was forced to settle for a draw. Neither they nor Turlock could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

The win made it two in a row for Dougherty Valley and bumps their season record up to 2-0. With that draw, Archbishop Mitty's record moves to 2-0-1.
