Dunlap has gone 9-0-1 against Washington recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Eagles will face off against the Panthers at 6:30 p.m.

Dunlap is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Normal Community just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost 4-1 to the Ironmen. The matchup was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Dunlap couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last game, Washington made sure to put some goals up on the board against Streator/Woodland on Wednesday. They blew past the Bulldogs 4-0. Considering Washington have won four contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Washington has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those nine games. As for Dunlap, the defeat was their first at home , dropping their record down to 8-3-3.

Dunlap took their win against Washington when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
