Meanwhile, it may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but James F. Byrnes ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. While the 3-3 score might suggest a draw, it was the Rebels who were credited with the win. James F. Byrnes got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Wade Hampton's two.

Riverside pushed their record up to 5-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those three matchups. As for James F.
