Baseball Recap: Bellefonte Takes a Loss

Bellefonte was the 19-4 winner over Central when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Bellefonte took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Central on Thursday. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bellefonte saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Peyton Vancas, who scored a run while going 1-for-6. Caleb Auman also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Bellefonte's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Central, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, Bellefonte will head out on the road to take on Huntingdon at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Huntingdon's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Bellefonte's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Central, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Bishop McCort at 4:30 p.m.
