Volleyball Recap: Veterans Memorial Starts off Right with Win over East Central

Veterans Memorial took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They blew past the East Central Hornets 3-0. The Patriots not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

While Veterans Memorial might've won, it sure wasn't easy: East Central scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-23.

Looking ahead, Veterans Memorial will challenge Medina Valley at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for East Central, they will be taking part in a tournament against Highlands at 10:00 a.m. on Friday.
