There's no place like home for Waverly/South Shore, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Thursday. They walked away with  a   3-1  victory over the Sisseton Redmen  on Tuesday. This was payback for the Coyotes, who suffered  a  3-0  loss the last time these two teams met.
 Waverly/South Shore had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-13, 27-25,  25-17.
 Annie Stricherz paced Waverly/South Shore's offense, picking up 13 kills. Stricherz got some help from  Marlie Riter and her 25 assists.  Gypsy Carlson controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Waverly/South Shore's record is now 7-17. As for Sisseton,  they are  on  a  14-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-14.
 Coming up, Waverly/South Shore will face off against Leola/Frederick at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Sisseton, they have already played their next matchup,  a  3-0  defeat against Clark/Willow Lake on the 16th.
