Basketball Recap: Carson Takes a Loss

Carson blew Northwest Cabarrus out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Northwest Cabarrus got their revenge. The Carson Cougars fell just short of the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans by a score of 77-74. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Cougars have suffered since December 20, 2024.

Carson's loss dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Northwest Cabarrus, their victory bumped their record up to 14-9.

As of now, neither Carson nor Northwest Cabarrus have any future games scheduled.
