Softball Recap: Richfield Comes Up Short

Richfield lost against Carbon back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Richfield lost 10-1 to Carbon. The game marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Jerzy Moon made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played.

Richfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Carbon, with the win, they broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Richfield will face off against rival North Sanpete at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Carbon is set to square off against their familiar foe Canyon View at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
