Volleyball Recap: Alina Bout and Dawnley King Secure Win for Borah + How To Watch

While Borah didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-13-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Bishop Kelly Knights with a sharp 3-0 win on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Borah was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-20, 25-17.

Borah was led to victory by Dawnley King and Alina Bout. King had five digs and three aces, while Bout had 14 digs and two assists. What's more, King racked up nine assists, the most she's had over her last six contests. Claire Cavanaugh also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

Borah's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Bishop Kelly, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Borah will host Skyview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bishop Kelly, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vallivue at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The match will give the Knights their first taste of in-conference action this season.
