Football Recap: Jadon Cabrales Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Chatham

It's playoff time, and Wayne Valley had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Chatham Cougars by a score of 20-7 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Wayne Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jadon Cabrales led the charge by picking up 118 receiving yards and two TDs. Elizer Estevez handled things on the ground, rushing for 119 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Wayne Valley's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.

Wayne Valley's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Chatham, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Wayne Valley has already played their next contest, a 48-20 defeat against Ramapo on the 7th. Chatham does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
