Basketball Recap: Derry Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Derry lost against Belle Vernon back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Leopards an easy 81-61 victory.

Derry's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Belle Vernon, their win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Derry won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mt. Pleasant at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Belle Vernon, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Greensburg Central Catholic at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
