Omaha North hadn't done well against Omaha South recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Packers 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Vikings: when they faced off against the Packers back in September, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

The victory snapped Omaha North's losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 6-23 record. As for Omaha South, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-19 record this season.

Omaha North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Millard South on the 20th. As for Omaha South, they will face off against Buena Vista at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
