Volleyball Recap: Weir Comes Up Short

Weir lost against John Marshall back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Red Riders fell 2-0 to the Monarchs.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15.

Ella Kaufman paced Weir's offense, picking up six kills. Kaufman got some help from Amalia Kirlangitis and her eight assists.

Weir's loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for John Marshall, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-2-2.

Weir didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Harrison Central on the 2nd. As for John Marshall, they will welcome Warren at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
