Basketball Recap: Pine Plains Comes Up Short

Pine Plains was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by the Marlboro Central Dukes 73-40. While losing is never fun, the Bombers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 838th, while the Dukes are ranked 288th).

Pine Plains' defeat dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Marlboro Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Pine Plains has already played their next matchup (against Rondout Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Marlboro Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
