After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Portage, Wisconsin Dells was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Nekoosa Papermakers 12-2. The victory continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Papermakers: they've now won eight in a row.

Wisconsin Dells' win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-6. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Nekoosa, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
