Basketball Recap: Northport Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northport had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 51-42 win over the Odessa Tigers. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 58-36 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Northport has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Odessa, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Northport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Odessa, they will challenge Mount Pleasant at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
