Baseball Game Preview: James Clemens Jets vs. Riverdale Warriors

The James Clemens Jets are taking a road trip to square off against the Riverdale Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. James Clemens' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Riverdale's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Last Tuesday, James Clemens didn't have quite enough to beat Grissom and fell 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Jets in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost three in a row.

James Clemens got a good showing from Braden Powless, who pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Bryson Hodge made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-3. He also hit a triple, marking his first of the season.

Meanwhile, Riverdale unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Wednesday. They fell just short of South Hills by a score of 6-4.

James Clemens' record is now 17-7. As for Riverdale, their record is now 10-9.
