Moore is a perfect 4-0 against Shawnee since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Mustangs will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Golden Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Moore is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season back in March. They came up short against North Bullitt, falling 18-0.

Meanwhile, Shawnee fell victim to Valley and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 17-0 to the Vikings. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Moore's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Shawnee, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Moore took their victory against Shawnee when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 20-1 score. Do the Mustangs have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Golden Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
