Basketball Recap: Tishomingo Comes Up Short

Tishomingo lost against Lone Grove back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tishomingo Indians fell just short of the Lone Grove Longhorns by a score of 65-63.

Tishomingo's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Lone Grove, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Tishomingo will square off against Valliant at 8:00 p.m. on January 28th. Valliant knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Tishomingo likes a good challenge. As for Lone Grove, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 87-53 loss against Riverside Indian on the 23rd.
