The Carmel School had won four straight games and Kedelin Santos did her part to make it five on Monday. The Carmel School Wildcats blew past the St. Michael the Archangel Warriors, posting a 69-23 victory thanks in part to Santos, who shot 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 35 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it 16 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of The Carmel School's points.

When it comes to explaining why St. Michael the Archangel lost, don't look at Janaye Martinez. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 20 points and 20 boards. The contest was Martinez's 14th in a row with at least 15 points.

The Carmel School pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 30.2 points. As for St. Michael the Archangel, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Coming up, The Carmel School will face off against Fredericksburg Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. After both having extra time off, St. Michael the Archangel and Grace Prep will dust off their jerseys to take on one another on March 7th.
