Central extended the longest winning streak in 7A District 12 this week by beating Vero Beach, 21-17. The win marks fourth in a row for the the Cobras.
Central and the Indians played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with Central eventually emerging with a 21-17 victory.
Port St. Lucie's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Jaguars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. DJ (Dikingson) Juste has thrown for 112 yards this season, while Dakota Meizinger has three catches for 64 yards. Juste also leads the league in rushing with 112 yards.
A big matchup in 7A District 12 this week will be when Viera takes on Joshua Shaffer's team. The Hawks are currently in fourth, while the Cobras are in first.
