Volleyball Recap: Riverdale Extends Home Winning Streak to Seven + How To Watch

Riverdale hadn't done well against Orion recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Rams walked away with a 2-0 win over the Chargers. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Chargers back in September, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

While Riverdale won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23.

Riverdale was led to victory by Kamryn Kruger and Lola Wainwright. Kruger had ten digs and three aces, while Wainwright had ten assists and two aces. That's the most aces Kruger has posted over her last ten matches.

Orion lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ellie Knupp, who had seven kills and five digs. The team also got some help courtesy of Khloe Nelson, who had eight digs and seven assists.

Riverdale pushed their record up to 20-10-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Orion, their loss dropped their record down to 17-15.

Riverdale has already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Bureau Valley on the 23rd. As for Orion, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Rock Island on the 23rd.
