Basketball Recap: Yosemite Takes a Loss

Yosemite lost against Firebaugh back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Yosemite Badgers took a hard 52-36 fall against the Firebaugh Eagles.

Despite the loss, Yosemite still got an impressive performance from Lucas McGoldrick, who went 9 for 16 on his way to 21 points and five rebounds.

Yosemite dropped their record down to 4-14 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Firebaugh, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Yosemite will take on Fresno Christian at 6:30 p.m. on January 14th. As for Firebaugh, they will square off against Tranquillity at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
