Medomak Valley put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Erskine Academy Eagles 64-29. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked second, while the Eagles are ranked 86th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Medomak Valley pushed their record up to 17-0 with the victory, which was their 15th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Erskine Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Medomak Valley will venture away from home to square off against Oceanside at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Oceanside knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Medomak Valley likes a good challenge. Erskine Academy has already played their next matchup (against Morse), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
