Basketball Recap: Martin County Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Brandon Brazell and Benjamin Thomas + How To Watch

Martin County dropped to 1-4 on Monday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season. They fell just short of the Jupiter Christian Eagles by a score of 63-60. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2022.

Martin County's loss came despite strong showings from Benjamin Thomas and Brandon Brazell. Thomas posted 11 points, while Brazell put up ten points and six rebounds.

As for Jupiter Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since January 21st.

Robert Sawicki went supernova, going 7-for-11 on his way to 23 points and eight boards. The matchup was his third in a row with at least 20 points. Derek Vasquez was another key player, putting up 11 points and eight rebounds.
