It was a proper cat-fight when West Central Valley took on Madrid on Tuesday. The Wildcats blew past the Tigers 9-1. That looming 9-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Wildcats yet this season.

West Central Valley's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-7-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Madrid, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Looking ahead, West Central Valley will welcome Nodaway Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
