Basketball Recap: West Nassau Takes a Loss

West Nassau lost against Union County back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The West Nassau Warriors fell 41-28 to the Union County Fightin' Tigers. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

It was another big night for Heaven Scott, who went 9 for 16 en route to 23 points and three steals for Union County. Those 23 points gave Scott a new career-high. Iamorieah Williams was another key player, putting up six points along with seven boards and three steals.

West Nassau's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Union County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-12.

West Nassau has already played their next match, a 51-25 defeat against Yulee on the 20th. As for Union County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 38-31 victory against Hope Christian Academy on the 17th.
