Football Game Preview: Gregory vs. Platte/Geddes

If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Gregory. They will take on Platte/Geddes at home at 7:00 PM on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous game, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.

Last Friday, Gregory faced Bon Homme in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Gregory had victory within their grasp but couldn't quite capture it as the team lost 6-7 to Bon Homme. The low total for Gregory limited their streak of high-flying scores to 3 in a row.

Meanwhile, Platte/Geddes took a serious blow against Miller/Highmore/Harrold, falling 8-48. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Platte/Geddes.

Gregory simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Platte/Geddes 60-7. Will Gregory repeat their success, or does Platte/Geddes have a better game plan this time around ? We'll find out soon enough.
