Basketball Recap: Eastlake Falcons vs. Socorro Bulldogs
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Eastwood, Eastlake was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Socorro Bulldogs 66-27. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Falcons considering their 30-point performance the matchup before.
Eastlake found their leader in sophomore Tristan Anderson-Edmond, who went 9 for 12 en route to 21 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Braeden Quigley, who posted eight points and eight rebounds.
Eastlake was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Socorro only posted six assists.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Isaias Morales, who scored nine points. Adrian Sandoval also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.
