The Collinsville Kahoks will challenge the Cahokia Comanches at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Collinsville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 27.7 points per game this season.

Collinsville took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 48-38 win over Marion. Collinsville wouldn't let Marion keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Collinsville can thank Adam Frazier and Devin Habermehl for forcing both of them.

Meanwhile, Cahokia waltzed into their game on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Orphans by a score of 28-17. 28 seems to be a good number for the Comanches as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Cahokia's defense and their five sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Demarco Clark and Issac Phipps, who racked up four sacks between them.

Collinsville now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Cahokia, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Friday's matchup might be decided in the on the ground. Collinsville has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 197.4 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Cahokia struggles in that department as they've been averaging 209.7. It's looking like Friday's match might have some serious battles in the trenches.
