Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Phinn Waters stepped things up a notch to give Briarcrest Christian the 'W'. Waters turned in his biggest game of the season, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 12 over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
