Football Recap: Richland Beats United Valley Co-Op [Blacklick Valley/United] for Their Seventh Straight Win

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Richland had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] 35-12. Considering the Rams have won seven games by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Brayden Knepper had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 129 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries. Those 129 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Arnold Mugerwa also helped out with an impressive 83 receiving yards.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Richland was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 382 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

United Valley co-op [Blacklick Valley/United] lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Logan Lichtenfels, who rushed for 102 yards and one score on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Nate Szymusiak was another key back, rushing for 88 yards and one TD.
