It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Twin Peaks Classical Academy can now relate to. They came up short against the Akron Rams on Friday, falling 63-38. The Timberwolves' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was David Bosire, who posted seven points along with eight boards and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Matthew Wurth, who earned nine points and seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, Twin Peaks Classical Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 17 consecutive games.

Leading Akron to victory were Anderson Filla and Caleb Poss. Filla dropped a double-double with 16 points and 11 boards, while Poss dropped a double-double with 16 points and 18 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Filla a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Jakzon Livesay, who shot 50% from the field on his way to 14 points and six rebounds.

Twin Peaks Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 15-9. As for Akron, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.
