Baseball Recap: Grissom Wins High-Profile Contest Against Bob Jones

Grissom faced Bob Jones in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Grissom never let Bob Jones get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Tigers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Grissom's victory was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-7. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.1 runs over those games. As for Bob Jones, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 21-8.
