Soccer Recap: Delano Triumphs

After low-scoring totals in their previous six contests, Delano brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the Taft Wildcats on Thursday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Tigers' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit Taft with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Lionel Madrigal (2), Richard Ontiveros, and Avery Cacal.

Delano now has a winning record of 7-6-2. As for Taft, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-8-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Kennedy the next time they take the pitch. Taft will host Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Delano will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 23rd.
