Volleyball Recap: Homer's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Homer was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Pittsford on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans fell just short of the Summerfield Bulldogs by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Trojans' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Homer fell to 2-1. As for Summerfield, the victory was the fifth in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record up to 2-0.

Coincidentally, Homer and Summerfield will both be playing Michigan Center the next time they take the court. The Trojans will host the Cardinals at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Bulldogs will play them later in the day, at 9:00 p.m.
